Winter was long and harsh but its finally starting to loosen its grip. Now is the perfect time to get a head start on spring. Heavy snow load has broken branches on shrubs and trees and they need to be pruned before they sprout leaves. Gardens are ready for feeding and mulching which will prepare them for the growing season and save later on maintenance. Annual bulbs such as dahlias and gladiolas are ready to be put in as well as daffodils and tulips. -Brian
